Learn to Curl

The Huntley Curling Club is proud to offer numerous ways for people of all ages to learn and enjoy the great sport of curling.

Note we currently have space in almost all our leagues for new members.

Try Curling – Free One-Day Open House

On Sunday 16 October, 1:00-5:00 pm, we are hosting a one-day open house for those 8 years of age or older who want to give curling a try! We will have experienced curlers on hand to get you up to speed.

You may attend singly or as a group, but please book your visit by emailing match@huntleycurling.ca. You may be limited to a one-hour period if demand is heavy.

All necessary equipment will be provided, but you must bring clean running shoes or curling shoes with you.

This offer is limited to those 8 years or older. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

All participants will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the ice area. Also, if you are COVID positive or have symptoms, please do not attend.

Adult Learn to Curl

We host a Learn to Curl program twice a season, designed to give adults 18+ instruction on the basics of curling. It will run Sunday afternoons.

Whether you are new to curling or just want to refresh your skills, we teach adults of all ages in a welcoming and fun environment the basics of curling.

Youth Learn to Curl

Huntley Curling Club is happy to offer young curlers the opportunity to learn and experience the roaring game. Youth Learn to Curl is for any youth from 8 to 12 years old that is new to curling that would like to give curling a try. The sessions start in January, Sunday afternoons from 2-4pm.

To register, visit the Huntley Member Registration site, and enter the youth’s name. Choose “Yes” for the Youth or student? question. Complete the parent information and then under Leagues, add the “Youth U13 Learn to Curl Program (Ages 8-12)”.
