The Richmond curling club hosted the 4th annual U4 bonspiel on March 18th. The 5 enthusiastic Huntley teams defended the title, but Richmond prevailed this year, taking the trophy. Final score: Richmond 59.5, Huntley 46.5 Thank you Charlene for organizing this event with Richmond for our newest curlers!
The weekend of February 18, 2023 saw Huntley Curling Club host the Ladies Curling Association’s U7 bonspiel. Congratulations this past weekend to Team Moey who took home the Gauthier trophy in the Ladies Curling Association’s Stanley-Gauthier event for curlers with less than 5 years experience.
Congratulations to Team Budnick, winners of the Carleton Place Learn to Curl Bonspiel, Jan 7th And an honourable mention also goes out to Team Chapman. They won two of their three games. The team consisted of Janet Chapman, Pam Twining, Jim Gamo and Kari Keays.
