Announcing our First Annual Year-End, In-House Bonspiel:  THE LAST ROCK

BLUF: we are holding a year-end bonspiel for members-only that has random teams and
lots of fun.  You need to sign up right away as the slots are filling rapidly

You may have noticed the trophy in the club, emails and even posts on the Facebook page
about Huntley Curling Club’s final event of the season: The Last Rock.    The goal for this
event is fellowship & fun!  It is designed to bring members together on teams through random
selection so members can curl and socialize with a variety of curlers at different levels.  The
special entertainment is Calcutta betting and all members 19 years of age and older are
welcome to join in the fun whether you curl or not!

Excitement is building around The Last Rock!  Members are quickly signing up to curl, so register

EVEN JUCIER DETAILS: 

-   Curlers* may enter as pairs or individuals, and then at the kick off event on April 6th,
curlers are randomly selected to make up teams of 6. 
-   Round Robin curling is from April 7-11, with games played during the day on weekend days, and
in the evening on weekdays.  Teams generally play on alternating days. 
-   Playoffs are on April 12 & 13. 
-   The four winning teams from the quarter finals will share in the $5000 credit towards the 2019-20
season at the Huntley Curling Club (each of the 4 teams wins a $1250 credit).  
-   The four winning teams continue in the playoffs to win The Last Rock Trophy. 
-   Two rounds of Calcutta betting are available to pick the winning team of The Last Rock Trophy.  
-   More details of the event along with the official rules will be posted on the HCC website when completed.
-   Total of 96 Curlers only.  Must be 19 years of age or older. 
-   On April 6 at the kick-off event, the first 32 pairs & 16 individuals to register are randomly placed on
    teams first.  Balance of registrants will be placed on these 12 teams to make them teams of 6.
