Welcome to Huntley Curling Club

At the Huntley Curling Club, we can’t wait for fall and winter — because as soon as cottages close, boats are in drydock and swimsuits get packed away, it’s time for curling.

Four sheets of pristine pebbled ice, maintained by the best ice-maker in the area. Daytime, evening and weekend curling leagues for teams and individual curlers of all ages, abilities and skill levels, from competitive to social, fun and novice. Adult and Youth Learn to Curl programs. An on-site pro shop. A warm, friendly and fully licensed lounge offering post game beverages. Affordable membership fees, and great rental options – from the ice itself, which can accommodate 32 people playing at one time, to a two level, 120-capacity banquet area, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and wooden dance floor.

Conveniently located next to the Fairgrounds in the historic village of Carp, just a stone’s throw away from Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Arnprior and Dunrobin. The Huntley Curling Club has it all.

Of course, after 42 years, it also has some wear and tear. And since fall and winter bring rain, hail, snow and ice, we need to make repairs now to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our patrons for the next 25 seasons. The top priority is a new roof. While all members pay a capital maintenance fee as part of their annual dues, it isn’t enough to keep our building in perfect shape.

We’re asking for your support to complete these renovations because our Club is an important part of our community’s social connectedness, a place for camaraderie and competitions, bonspiels and birthday bashes. Because Curling is a life long sport that can be played by anyone from 8 to 80+ ensuring the long term health and mental wellbeing that is more important than ever in the wake of COVID-19. And because reaping those benefits depends on a well-maintained facility.

The Huntley Curling Club is open to everyone. Chances are, some of your customers and employees are already members or plan to try sweeping and sliding for the first time this winter, while others have likely attended a dinner/dance here or supported a fundraising event. Your Leadership Gift will ensure that we can continue to provide them with a great curling experience and so much more.

Come and see how much we have to offer: book a tour, ask us questions, and see our plans in this section of our website. Over the next year, we hope to raise $500,000 and your gift could get us off to a great start.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Dan Zanetti President
