Carp Fair has come and gone, and our club was very visible through our participation during the Fair. HCC has been involved in this annual event for a very long time.
We again hosted an open bar Thursday through Sunday, and held open Breakfasts as well as our BBQ tent Friday through Sunday. These were much welcomed by all fairgoers.
We also had our club promotion, including the Street Curl unit borrowed from OVCA. This is a big draw and is already reserved for the next Fair.
Kudos to Aaron Robinson and Stefanie Papineau (bar), Cory Mundy (breakfast) and Jim Collings (BBQ) for coordinating all of these efforts. We also have many volunteers to thank. This is one of the best times during the season to get your hours completed, so jump on it next year.
We have made a profit of at least $10,000 during this event, but as importantly, we have been part of the community and a significant presence during the Fair.
