The Huntley Curling Club is proud to offer a large variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. So, whether you’re a recreational player or someone competitive; if you’re young, old or somewhere in-between, we are sure to have a league suitable for you.
New members must request an account with Huntley Curling Club. Enter the required information and the account will be sent for approval. Once you have an account you can login and register to join leagues.
Learn to Curl sessions do not require an account. Sign up for a Learn to Curl event.
Our youth program offers instruction based on the Ontario Curling Skill Awards, focusing on fun while teaching age-appropriate skills and sportsmanship for all levels of youth from ages 8 to 18. For those interested in competing, we also offer coaching and additional practice ice.

Stick Curling is gaining in popularity across the country. Each stone must be delivered with a curling stick. Each team is comprised of 2 curlers using 6 stones. Sweeping is limited, only from the hog line to the back of the house. Stick curling provides challenge and excitement for everyone on an equal basis in a social atmosphere. The league has a capacity of 8 teams who are selected randomly for each match, and cumulative results for the season provide the winners for the league trophy.

This league is an open 2-tier format, available for both skilled curlers and those with just a few years of experience. It will provide an opportunity for B-level teams to rise to A-level after each round-robin draw, to pit their skills against some more experienced teams and meet new people!
League capacity for Tuesday Twilight is 9 teams, open to ladies only, and teams are fixed for the season. The league is open to new or experienced female curlers and has a good mixture of competition and social interaction. Winner of this league will be declared the Club Ladies Champions.
League capacity is 18 teams, open to men only, and fixed for the season. It is competitive but is open to both new and experienced curlers in a 2-tier round robin format. It will provide an opportunity for B-level teams to rise to A-level after each round-robin draw, to pit their skills against some more experienced teams. Winner of this league will be declared the Club Men’s Champions.
League capacity is 9 teams, open to any curler, and fixed for the season. This former rental league is now a regular Huntley open league. It is a social but competitive league, and welcomes all curlers, including recent Learn-to-Curl graduates. A great way to improve your skills.
League capacity is 18 teams, fixed for the season, placed in a 2-tier round robin format with adjustments between A and B after each draw. It is open to teams of two men and two women. Spares must be the same gender as the player they are replacing. The league is social but competitive and accepts both new and experienced curlers.
League capacity is 9 teams, open to any curler, and fixed for the season. This league is open to new or experienced curlers and has a good mixture of competition and social interaction.
League capacity is 18 teams, open to any curler, and fixed for the season. The format is a 2-tier round robin and is designed to balance teams based on experience and skill. This will provide for a fun season regardless of whether you are an experienced and competitive curler, or a new team with more social aspirations. There is a place for everyone in this league.
Friday night is among the most popular social leagues because newer curlers play on teams with experienced curlers who provide guidance. There are three 7 or 8 week rounds where teams are remixed to provide different curling perspectives and experiences. Couples who register together will always be curling together, but not necessarily on the same team. For added fun, the Friday curling features occasional munchie nights, ‘fun format nights’ and on-ice in-game coaching. League capacity is 18 teams and is open to any adult curler. Games times typically alternate between the specified time slots.
It is the club’s newest and largest social league and is aimed to provide a fun place for new and seasoned curlers alike to enjoy the game in a low pressure environment. With multiple divisions of varying skill levels, there is a place for everyone, including recent Learn to Curl graduates. This is an open, fixed-team league designed to allow for the social enjoyment of the game as well as a place to grow your skills. Members can enter individually or as a team. Games times typically rotate amongst the specified time slots.

Our U13-Little Rocks program is a great place for children aged 8 thru 12 to continue to develop their skills, including delivery and balance, weight and line, sweeping, teamwork and strategy. The program places a huge emphasis on having fun and meeting new friends. This program runs on Sunday afternoons with curlers on the ice for a session that includes both instruction and gameplay. The curlers work towards skill-based badges by completing both on and off ice challenges. We encourage all of the curlers to play in inter-club bonspiels and friendlies that are offered throughout the area. We also have our own bonspiel for the curlers where we invite youth from other clubs to participate. NOTE: helmets or curling head gear is mandatory for youth age 12 and under.

This program runs on Sunday mornings with curlers divided into novice, intermediate and advanced groups, where they learn new skills and then hone their existing curling skills under the guidance and instruction of our certified coaches. New curlers are also welcome. The curlers spend about 30-40 minutes on drills to advance their curling skills and then the remaining time in a game to put into practice what they have learned. We encourage all of the curlers to play in inter-club bonspiels and friendlies that are offered throughout the area.

This league is designed for curlers under 18 years of age who want the opportunity to extend their curling skills through gameplay. Coaches provide guidance on fair play and sportsmanship, as well as strategy. This is not intended as an instructional league. The league games run on Friday afternoons at 4:30pm – 6:30pm from October through March. Curlers are registered as individuals and each week will play on different teams. Curlers will earn points that will accumulate for year-end playoffs. Curlers must have experience throwing granite rocks. Non-Huntley youth from other curling clubs or schools are invited to join this league (normal pricing applies).

This ice time offers a prime opportunity for teams seeking to hone their skills and elevate their game. Introducing a dynamic new curling program tailored for youth aged 6 to 8 years old, designed to ignite their passion for the sport while instilling the FUNdamental skills in a fun and engaging manner. With just 30 minutes of ice time per week, youngsters will embark on an exciting journey of discovery, learning not only the basics of curling but also embracing the joy and camaraderie inherent in the game. Through interactive sessions, they will grasp the techniques of sliding stones and sweeping, fostering both physical coordination and teamwork. NOTE: They will not be learning to slide from the hack. This program aims not only to introduce the sport but also to cultivate a lifelong love for curling, building a strong foundation for future generations of players. NOTE: helmets or curling head gear is mandatory for this program.

Our Youth Learn to Curl Program is designed to introduce children aged 8 to 13 years old to the sport of curling. Through our Youth Learn to Curl program, on Sunday afternoon, curlers will learn the basics of the game with a huge emphasis on having fun. Our curriculum follows CurlON guidelines and we provide a low instructor to curler ratio. Curlers are encouraged to compete in our in-house bonspiel to finish their Learn to Curl program. NOTE: helmets or curling head gear is mandatory for this program.
