Given the growing popularity of stick delivery we asked Curling Ontario to provide skilled instructors for a clinic to be offered on January 4, 2025 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Huntley. Registration for the clinic opens at noon on Saturday, December 7.
This 3 hour clinic will provide information, instruction on and technical feedback for stick delivery with on and off ice components. Topics covered will include
- background of stick curling,
- technical overview (delivery),
- etiquette,
- rules and
- equipment review,
- stick-specific warm up routines,
- delivery instruction,
- sweeping instruction
Technical feedback will be provided throughout the clinic. An opportunity will be given towards the end of the clinic for participants to ask additional questions or obtain further feedback.
HCC has agreed to cover a portion of the cost for these skilled instructors, so the cost for this clinic is $20 per person after the subsidy is applied.
Registration is limited to a maximum of 24 attendees, so register early to be sure to get your spot.
