The initial Huntley Triathlon was held on March 22nd. This fun event provided an opportunity for participants to take part in three disciplines: darts, curling and of course Curling! We witnessed a fine display of finesse, mental sharpness and competitive yet friendly spirit.
The event winner was Team Bradley, the majority of the players are graduates of our ever popular Learn to Curl Program. Second Place was claimed by Team Galipeau...the skip is a recent grad of L2C, his teammates are "rookie" curlers. Third Place was claimed by Team Collings, the skip being a seasoned curler with a team of enthusiastic players.
Thanks to Sean Lynch for helping with registration, Whitney for the tasty lunch, Katie for her great bar service, Tom Watters and Cam Ghent for sharing their knowledge of darts, Dwayne and Kevin for the fantastic ice conditions, Burnt Rock Curling for their donation, those that helped with scoring and the ladies that donated baking.
A good time was had by all...looking forward to Triathlon 2026
