This year's Cathy Shane Year End Bonspiel was another huge success, with a day filled with fun, unique styles of curling games with entertaining rules. Highlights of the day included welcoming three of Cathy's sisters with Ross Valiant as their fearless leader; Whitney Toogood provided everyone with fantastic food for both our lunch and dinner, which was, as always, fantastic; and we had a very entertaining running of the horses with Tommy Watters narrowly missing victory.
Team Bruce (Mike Bruce, Carolyn Bruce, Christine Hughes, and David Dorey) came out guns a blazing and got the big win this year. We finished the evening off with awesome live music from Rick and Lindsay while we enjoyed watching the finals of our club championship.
