Details and Changes for the 2026-27 Season
- Some 2026–27 fees will see a modest increase this year, to keep pace with increasing operating cost pressures (notably, most per-league fees have increased by $5 or $10).
- We have acquired some additional lockers from a school in the region. These lockers will be placed in the downstairs hallway (may be a good choice for couples who want to share!). During registration, locker renters will be given a choice of location preference, which we will accommodate as best we can. Returning locker renters who register during the Returning Member Registration Period (June 1–24) will be given preference to retain their lockers from last season.
- Daytime leagues that previously started at 12:45 PM will move to a 1:00 PM start.
- The Youth Learn to Curl program schedule and structure has been updated to begin in October (instead of January), providing our young curlers streamlined entry into our regular instructional program.
- The Youth Half Hacks program will not return for the 2026–27 season.
- We are evolving our Adult Learn to Curl Program into a two-year curriculum. Registration for the program will open on July 2 and will be available via the Adult Learn to Curl page on the website.
- The overall 2026–27 club schedule is available for review on the website. Additionally, always check the interactive club calendar on the website for the latest day-to-day schedule updates (e.g., rentals, practice ice, league cancellations).
- Volunteers will be available to provide in-person registration assistance at the club from 6:30–8:00 PM on June 4 (returning member registration) and July 7 (open and returning member registration).
Members Must Have Unique Email Addresses
Each member must have a unique email address. A single person cannot sign up their spouse, significant other or children for leagues they may wish to participate in. Most adults and older children have access to their own email address or can create a new Gmail or Yahoo email address to register.
For those registering younger children or wishing to meet the requirement without a separate email address should read this post on our site about Plus Email Addresses which we’ve helped many parents adopt for use at HCC.
