Open to the Public to Try Curling February 22 (Noon to 3pm)
On the afternoon of February 22nd, Huntley Curling Club wishes to invite the general public to drop by to experience the fun and excitement of curling on this national day of celebrating this sport. From noon until 3pm the club will be holding 1 hour sessions where anyone over the age of 8 can learn from skilled curlers the basics of curling and to try their hand at throwing and sweeping rocks. The club will provide appropriate equipment.
We ask that participants bring clean shoes with them, separate from footwear worn to the club.
To help us manage the numbers of eager participants we hope to see come to the club, we'd ask you to pre-register for one of the 3 sessions to be held. While drop-ins on the day are welcome, preference will be given to pre-registrants should participant numbers become too large for a session.

If you have ever wondered what it might be like to throw a granite rock down a sheet of ice and attempt to stop it in the target at the far end, then come to Huntley on the afternoon of February 22nd. We would love to introduce you to the sport of curling!
