All of our leagues are described under the “Curling, Leagues” menu item. Registration opens June 1st. 

We have Adult leagues that run during the day during the week. Our Adult Weekday evening leagues are divided into Twilight leagues which have a draw at 5pm and Evening leagues which typically have two draws, at 7pm and 9pm. Our Adult social leagues are Friday and Saturday nights and a great place to meet people.

We have many Youth programs that run Friday afternoon and all day Sunday. 

If you don't know how to curl, check out our Adult Learn to Curl program. In just 8 weeks you'll learn the fundamentals of curling and be ready to join one of our regular leagues. 

New members must request an account with Huntley Curling Club. Request an account here.  Enter the required information and the account will be sent for approval.

Login with your account to join leagues. Your Member Home Page will have a link to register when registration is open. Confirm your personal information and then select the leagues you wish to play in, complete waiver and payments to fully register for a league

Our full fee structure is described on our website under “Curling, Membership Fees/Information”. In general, our base adult fees are $365 plus $105 per league. A fixed $75 capital fee is added to all Adult members for major building capital renewal expenses. Some leagues, such as our weekday Come and Curls, Stick, and Saturday leagues, are at a reduced rate.

Yes. New members to Huntley will get a discount. Learn-to-Curl program graduates are reminded to sign up as a new member to get the discount for their first year.

To add a league (while registration is open) or any other 'extras' (locker, nametag, 60/40, volunteer opt out) simply revisit the registration page and go through the registration process again, adding your additional league or extra. The system should calculate an increment for you to pay on checkout.

All of our leagues are open to all skill levels, but you may find some more suited to your experience level than others. Read more on the “Curling, Leagues” page on our website. All of our leagues accept registrations as singles. We will try our best to find a team for you, or refund you if we can’t. Our new site also allows you to register as a "Free Agent" after you have an account, enabling existing teams to see you on the list.

For 2024/25, only the weekday Come and Curls offer half season rates. All other leagues are full-season.

You can find out more about our learn-to-curl program on our website under “Curling, Learn to Curl”. Sign-up links can be found there. (You do not use the regular member registration process.)  Signup generally opens in June for the October classes. We are not planning to run January classes this season.

Your one-time fee includes 8 weeks of 2-hour instruction on Sundays, free use of equipment (slider, gripper, broom, stabilizer), and free entry into one of our social leagues within the same curling season (if you wish and if space is available). Free practice time can also be arranged. As well, you will qualify for our new member discount for the following curling season. You will be reminded to sign up as a new, not a returning, member the following season.

Sparing in other leagues is a great way to see different leagues, meet more curlers and find ways to play more.  If you are registered in at least one league, you can sign-up to spare in as many other leagues as you wish at no charge. New for 2024/25!  - you add or remove your name from a spares list by logging into the member's area and going to My Sparing Availability.

There are several ways. Most of our leagues will have a few openings, so signing up as a single is an option.  Sparing for other leagues is another great (and free) way to start playing more. Volunteerism is at the cornerstone of what makes Huntley Curling Club such a great facility. Volunteers are an essential component of the operation of our curling club, as it enhances every member’s experience. Please review our Volunteer Policy.

Each year adult full-season members are expected to volunteer for a minimum of 6 hours with the club, or pay the Volunteer Duty Opt-Out Fee. 

Members are encouraged to check our website often for upcoming volunteer opportunities. Newsletter emails will also include information about volunteer opportunities as they come up.

Volunteer opportunities are announced in our newsletters and website postings. You can also identify what you are available to do for volunteer work after you log in, in the “Member Area, My Volunteer Interests”. Or you can ask any of us at the club, or if you see something that you think you can do, let one of the Board members know. We can certainly use your help.

Members should self-report all their hours using the My Time Tracking tool in the Member Area of our website.

Most of the schedules of our major events are listed along with our regular leagues in our Overall League Schedule. Once our events are available for registration, they will appear on the Event Registrations page. For a list of local bonspiels, check out our Regional Bonspiels page.

Signup for our events can be found under Event Registrations on our web page when the event is ready to accept entries.

Practice ice is available free to all members.

All adult members’ names are put in a drum and a draw is held every Saturday night. If the name drawn has not paid for that week, the prize is held over to the next week. Entries are $2/week cash in the box, or can be purchased for the entire season ($48 for 24 weeks) as an add-on when you register for the season. If you pay cash, check off your name in the binder for the weeks you are paying and put the cash in the provided cash box. Speak to the bartender if you don't see the binder and box in or around the bar.

Locker are rented for a fee every season and are purchased as an add-on when you register for the season. Please do not take a locker without paying first.

Yes the ice and banquet hall (lounge, kitchen  and bar) are  available to rent by the public and at discounted rates for club members. See the Rentals area of the website for more info.

Helmets, halo style headgear, or protective hats with padding are mandatory for those 12 and under and are strongly recommended for all other ages.

Many curling clubs and sports stores in the area sell curling equipment. The Burnt Rock Curling Co. store located within Huntley Curling Club stocks a full range of equipment and is considered one the best in the region.
