If you do business in Kanata, Stittsville, Carp or West Ottawa you won’t want to miss this premium advertising opportunity at the Huntley Curling Club. Most of our 400 adult and 100 youth members (plus their parents) are at the curling club once a week minimum between October and April – that’s approximately 24 weeks!
If you are a returning sponsor, you already know how good this is! Email us (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to renew your sponsorship for the coming season.
Our membership is mostly middle class income earners working as entrepreneurs, government employees, employed by a business and there is a large contingent of retirees.
While adult members are between the ages of 21 and 80 plus years old, most are 50 years or older.
Huntley Curling Club is in Carp at 199 Langstaff Road, we’ve been there since the late 1970s. In addition to four sheets of ice for curling we have a full stocked bar and lounge area plus a full kitchen for occasional food service.
Huntley Curling Club will show your logo and contact information in all the major traffic areas – on the ice, in the lounge, and on the website:
Your logo will be embedded into our ice surface for the entire season…. Just like you see on TV!
Huntley will take care of making the silk screen necessary for your logo to go into the ice surface.
Complimenting your logo in in the ice is a 32 inch by 32 inch poster on the wall of our ice shed. This is visible from both the lounge and the ice surface.
Most sponsors make this post like their business card:
On Huntley’s website there is a slider at the bottom of each page. In addition to your website logo display, there is a link to your website which provides additional benefits:
Huntley’s lounge is an active place where members socialize before and after curling games. There’s a TV screen with club announcements. On that screen we also display sponsor logos
You can receive all of these advertising benefits. Here’s how to become a sponsor:

Any past or present member of the Huntley Curling Club (HCC) may nominate past or present members who have made an outstanding contribution over an extended time period to the leadership, advancement and cultural development of the HCC for an Honourary Membership Award (HMA). Download Policy
Nominees will be assessed on their outstanding volunteer contributions/service or leadership, including but not limited to the following areas:
Nominator(s) are required to complete the HMA Application form and describe (and to the extent possible, quantify) each nominee’s accomplishments and contributions to the HCC, using the above assessment criteria. Nomination forms must be received by January 31 to be considered for year end presentation. HMA’s will be limited to two per year, at the discretion of the Board.
An HMA Committee (comprised of one ex-president, one existing Honorary Member and one past Board member) will review the nomination to assess whether the nominee(s) qualifications merit HMA status and make the appropriate recommendation to the Board for its final approval.
HMA’s will be presented at events where significant numbers of members can witness the HMA presentation. Recipients will be awarded an engraved recognition plaque and have their name listed on the HMA plaque that is displayed in the HCC lounge.
HM’s will be invited to events where HMA’s are being awarded. They are eligible to serve on the HCC Executive and committees and may participate in all meetings and HCC events with full member’s rights and privileges. HM’s are encouraged to contribute their expertise and knowledge as members.
While active HM’s are excused from paying annual league and capital fees and volunteer duty (at their discretion), payment is required for all other optional activities in which they choose to participate (such as, but not limited to, locker rentals, the 60-40 draw, and special events such as bonspiels and dinners).
